Dorothy E. Cumby
Dorothy Cumby has experience in many areas of the law and specializes in commercial real estate law. She has a deep knowledge of real estate law, practice and customs throughout the United States and has extensive experience representing owners and developers of real estate, as well as individual investors and institutions with nationwide and international leasing requirements. Dorothy has provided expert legal advice to clients in all aspects of real estate law, including acquiring, selling, financing, restructuring, leasing and developing. Dorothy's experience includes all types of real property, including office buildings, shopping centers, apartment and other residential buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and unimproved land.
Prior to forming Cumby + Weems LLP, Dorothy was an attorney at Debevoise and Plimpton LLP (1987 – 1990), Shearman & Sterling LLP (1990 – 1993) and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP (1993 – 2004) in each firm's Commercial Real Estate Group.

Kandance Weems Norris
Kandance Weems Norris has several years of experience practicing corporate and real estate law. She has completed major commercial and residential transactions representing large corporations and high net worth individuals in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development and leasing activities. She also has advised small and start-up businesses on corporate and real estate matters involving organization and deal structuring; partnership, joint venture and limited liability company formation; and general corporate issues.
Prior to forming Cumby + Weems LLP, Kandance was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in the firm's Commercial Real Estate Group (1996 – 2005) and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company (1990 – 1992).
